Hang Out the "Do Not Disturb" Sign: Work-Life Harmony in Progress
All employees have limited time and resources, experience the help and obstacles of balancing work and life, and feel the impact of market forces out of their control. The purpose of this presentation is to examine the negative impacts of work-life imbalance, review recent and established movements for finding a more peaceful harmony between work and non-work roles, and recommend strategies for improving work-life harmony in high impact and high stress positions.
1. Participants will examine causes of work-life imbalance and trends associated with improving the harmony between work and non-work roles. 2. Participants will analyze recent work-life balance research and apply findings to work environments. 3. Participants will consider work-life harmony within current trends of working remotely.
