    "Personal Safety in a Changing World" 

    Overview:  How to protect yourself and your family in an ever changing world.  Tools to assist you in your personal safety at home, work, and in your everyday world. 

    Objectives:

    • How to mentally prepare for an incident of violence
    • Active counter measure during an attack
    • What is needed for Total Team Commitment

      Presenter:  Chief Todd Gibson


      Todd Gibson is the Chief of Police for the City of Moore, Oklahoma. He is responsible for  leading the men and women of the police department as they carry out service to the Moore community.  He brings over 27 years of law enforcement experience to the City of Moore, which is the 7th largest city in Oklahoma and the 4th largest city in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area.  

      Todd Gibson's career consisted of serving the Warr Acres Police Department, Norman Police Department, and the Cleveland County Sherriff before taking the position of Chief of Police for the City of Moore.  

      A boxed lunch will be served.

      SHRS Members and SHRS Student Members are FREE!

      Non-members and guests are $15.

      "Power of Moments:  Engagement of Employees & Clients" 

      Overview:  Gallop research shows engagement is at an all-time low with quiet quitting prevalent in all our organizations. This session focuses on what organizations can do to leverage the role of the direct leader in enhancing engagement in ways that have been proven effective.

      • Research behind engagement and the leading cause(s) including levers you can utilize within your organization
      • Key examples of companies that have built cultures of engagement
      • Specific ways to leverage your culture, values, and mission to increase engagement within your organization
